Julia Carolyn Child (born McWilliams; August 15, 1912 – August 13, 2004)
Her kitchen is now in the Smithsonian.
She’s on a stamp.
And if you need a recipe for that cake, she had that, too.

Julia making the Queen of Sheba Cake – this links to the episode

Saw Julia’s kitchen this spring, when I went to D.C. for the IACP convention. (Where you there?) Having grown up watching Julia, it was fun seeing her kitchen. And I enjoyed the Queen of Sheba cake lesson to which you linked. Thanks. Cynthia
I’ve made this cake several times – Julia kept re-working it, so there are several versions – all good! I wasn’t in DC this spring. I saw the kitchen 2 years ago.
